About AIcineverse
AIcineverse is a free catalogue of films made with AI: fully generated work and films where AI was one tool among others. Shorts, features, trailers, music videos, ads and experiments, in any language. Browsing, submitting and rating need no account.
What a listing is
Each film is listed once, with links to every place its makers have published it. Where the host allows it, a player is shown; it only loads when you press play. A link to the original source is always there. AIcineverse keeps catalogue details and a small still for each film. It does not download, copy, cache or re-encode any video.
Format says what kind of work something is (a short, a trailer, a music video). Genre says what it is about. They are separate filters on purpose, and both use fixed lists so the same thing is always called the same thing.
Details come from what the host shares and what the submitter or editors confirm. When something isn't known, such as a running time or a language, it is left empty and shown as not known. Nothing is filled in by guesswork.
How ratings and sorting work
Anyone can rate a film from one to five stars. Each browser gets one rating per film, which can be changed or removed at any time. This is enforced on the server and tied to an anonymous identity stored in a cookie when you first rate. It is one rating per browser, not a verified vote per person: someone with two devices can rate twice. Rate limits and other checks hold back bulk voting.
The number shown on a film is the plain average of its ratings and the count of ratings. A film with no ratings says “Not rated”.
- Newest
- Most recently published on AIcineverse first.
- Popular now
- Based only on recent activity on this site: people opening a film's page, pressing play, following a link to the source, or rating it. Each kind of activity counts once per visitor per day, and activity loses half its weight every week. View counts from YouTube or Vimeo are not used.
- Highest average
- Exactly what it says: the plain average, highest first. A film with a single five-star rating sits at the top.
- Top rated
- The average adjusted for how many ratings a film has, so a few votes can't outrank a film many people rated well. Each film's score is calculated as if it also had five extra three-star ratings:
(5 × 3 + sum of its ratings) ÷ (5 + number of its ratings). A film with one five-star rating scores 3.3; a film averaging 4.8 from thirty ratings scores 4.5. With many ratings the score converges on the film's own average. - Shortest first
- By running time. Films with no known running time come last.
In “Top rated” and “Highest average”, unrated films come after rated ones.
How films get listed
Submissions
Anyone can submit a film by pasting its link. Classifications suggested on the form are simple keyword matches for the submitter to confirm or correct. A moderator reviews every submission before it is published. The submitter gets a private link to check the status and to ask for changes or removal. Submitting a film does not make the submitter its author or the owner of the listing.
Editorial additions
Some listings were added by AIcineverse editors from the creators' own public uploads, with a cited source for the AI involvement. These are marked “Editorial addition”. Their creators did not submit them and have not endorsed this site.
Duplicates
The same link, or the same video on the same platform, cannot be listed twice. That holds for submissions still waiting for review too. When the same film appears on a second platform, a moderator can merge the two listings into one: the links are kept, and ratings are combined so that nobody's rating counts twice. Trailers and substantially different cuts stay as separate listings.
Reporting and removal
Every film page has a “Report this listing” form for broken links, wrong details, duplicates, films that weren't made with AI, and rights or safety concerns. If you made a film listed here and want it corrected or removed, use that form and say so; a contact address helps the moderator confirm with you.
Privacy
- No account, no advertising, no third-party analytics.
- One cookie, set only when you rate a film, so your rating can be found and changed later.
- To count popularity without tracking anyone, each day's activity is tied to a one-way code derived from the visitor's network address and browser type. The code changes every day and cannot be turned back into an address.
- Network addresses are processed to limit abuse; ratings, reports and submissions store a one-way code rather than the address itself. The web server keeps ordinary access logs for a limited time.
- Pressing play loads the player from YouTube or Vimeo, which then apply their own privacy terms. Nothing is loaded from them before that.
Our metadata fetcher
When someone submits a link, AIcineverse requests that page's public metadata once, identifying itself as AIcineverseBot. It reads titles, descriptions and preview images only, never video files, and it does not crawl.
